Bridging Generations – The Helfgott Legacy

In case you weren’t already aware, on Sunday 13 April from 2pm, legendary pianist and Bellingen local David Helfgott OAM will usher in the next generation of talent at Memorial Hall.

We are delighted to introduce five youngsters whose talents – spanning piano, violin and voice – has impressed teachers and mentors alike and is set to enthral the audience at Memorial Hall:

Mia Greyling - piano
Jaclyn Wynne - voice
Henrietta Hohnlohe - violin
Joe Barker - piano
Josie Armstrong - voice

They will perform on the new Kawai GX7 concert semi-grand piano, marking the final touch on Bellingen Memorial Hall’s $9M upgrade with renowned local pianist Mei Wei Lim will open and close the concert with works spanning multiple genres.

David will also be in attendance cheering on the next generation of musicians.

Discounted tickets are available to mailing list subscribers (sign up at https://www.bellingenmemorialhall.com.au/Home) and under-18s may attend free of charge. Book early—this event is expected to sell out!

Saturday 3 May at 3.30pm – bring the family to enjoy a free screening of last year’s hit animation.

In the aftermath of a shipwreck, an intelligent robot called Roz is stranded on an uninhabited island. To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island's animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose.

Let the kids snuggle up with their popcorn on a bean bag or sofa, while you enjoy a cool drink from our licensed bar. Buy a Choc Top and plant a tree, courtesy of OzGreen!
